Parks and open spaces

Bandstand at Victoria Park, Swinton

With so much to offer, Salford’s parks are well worth a visit!

Salford boasts a rich and diverse range of parks and open spaces with over 60% of the city being made up of precious green spaces.

This includes over 30 parks and recreational grounds, two country parks, five local nature reserves and 57 play areas for people of all ages to enjoy.

So, whether it's feeding the ducks, walking the dog, taking the kids to the playground or simply enjoying the fresh air, you’re bound to find something to enjoy all year round.

Like parks, wildlife and nature? Why not take a look at Salford Ranger Team on Twitter and Salford Ranger Team on Facebook. A great way to find out about things to do, places to explore, and discover Salford’s wildlife!

Tell us what you like most about Salford's greenspaces on the I love Salford Facebook wall.
