Parr Fold Park

Parr Fold Park

Located in the centre of Walkden, Parr Fold is a classic Victorian park with many traditional features such as landscaped gardens, mature trees and open lawns.

It is one of only two parks within Salford (along with Victoria Park) to have a bandstand, which was first built in 1935. A Cenotaph is also located in the park which each year hosts a Remembrance Day service.

Among the park's other features include a memorial garden, bowling green, pitch and putt course, tennis courts and children's play area for four to eight years olds.

The park is supported by the Friends of Parr Fold Park. Follow their Facebook page or email friendsofparrfoldpark@gmail.com
