Performance reporting
Central to continually improving services and outcomes for local people is our understanding of what's working well, and where we still face challenges as an organisation. Our performance reporting framework incorporates:
- Performance meetings between the chief executive, leader, lead member and strategic director for all directorates on a quarterly basis, challenging key strategic issues.
- Directorates reporting performance internally through directorate management groups and to their lead members on their key management information and progress on their services' performance.
- Progress against all actions within the cabinet work plan reported quarterly to the Leader of the council and copied to all elected members.
- A performance indicators matrix containing performance data for all the council's key performance indicators linked to the corporate plan.
