Salford's heritage assets

Salford has a rich and diverse heritage ranging from the grand Georgian town houses of the Crescent, to the model village of Worsley.

Whilst Salford's heritage can be traced back to Medieval England and its origins in Greengate, today Salford has a proud legacy of industrial heritage dating back hundreds of years, which is epitomised in the paintings of LS Lowry.

TheĀ interactive heritage map shows Salford's heritage assets on a single map, and provides further information on each asset. It also contains information on war memorials and commemorative plaques in the city.
