Eccles

Section 106 Agreements made within Eccles since April 2000 have resulted in contributions of over £765,000* being used to deliver a number of improvements within the vicinity of the developments that provided them.

Project: Ellesmere Recreation Ground multi use games area

The Greenpeace Strategy recognised that there were limited facilities within the area that could be enjoyed by older children. Section 106 contributions pooled from a number of residential developments in the area have enabled a Multi Use Games Area to be installed. This new equipment has addressed a recognised shortfall in local facilities and offers a place for local children to play games ranging from football to basketball.
