Swinton
Section 106 Agreements made within Swinton since April 2000 have resulted in contributions of over £550,000* being used to deliver a number of improvements within the vicinity of the developments that provided them.
Project: Clifton Green Play Area
Section 106 contributions pooled from a number of residential developments in the area have enabled the refurbishment of a play area at Clifton Green. The new play area is designed for the under fives, enlarged to include a grassed area in order to encourage natural play as well as the installation of new play equipment and safety surfacing. The play area is now proving popular with younger children from the local area.
