Worsley and Boothstown

Wosley Wood Trim Trail after

Section 106 Agreements made within Worsley and Boothstown since April 2000 have resulted in contributions of over £64,000* being used to deliver a number of improvements within the vicinity of the developments that provided them.

Project: Worsley Woods Trim Trail

Within Worsley Woods there was an opportunity for informal timber trim trail equipment that would encourage people of all ages from children through to adults to keep fit and have fun in a woodland setting. Section 106 contributions from a residential development near Chatsworth Road have enabled the installation of specialist trim trail equipment and art work that is now well used by walkers through the wood.

The table below shows what improvements have or will be delivered from Section 106 contributions received since April 2000.

S.106 ref Location of development Description of scheme
98 The Coppice, off Chatsworth Road Environmental improvements to Sefton Drive Trim Trail
107 Land at 17 Moorside Road Improved access to Teen Shelter at Moorside Park

* Figures at April 2011

Please note: some developments can affect the wider community, so contributions from Section 106 Agreements can be used to deliver improvements to facilities that are located some distance away from the development, such as a local town centre or major road corridor.
