Prohibition of waiting order: Canterbury Gardens, Salford Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the council's reasons for proposing to make the order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the City Solicitor c/o. The Litigation Team, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 7 December 2009 (quoting reference L/RC/UV/RTO/359).

- Introduction of no waiting at any time:
- Canterbury Gardens, north side, from a point 18 metres west of the western kerbline of Knights Court, in an easterly direction for a distance of 450 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, western entrance, both sides, from its junction with Eccles New Road, in a northerly direction, to its junction with Knights Court.
- Canterbury Gardens, south side, from the western kerbline of the western entrance, in a westerly direction for a distance of 18 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, south side, from a point 19 metres west of the western kerbline of Millers Court, in a westerly direction for a distance of 28 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, south side, from a point 5 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Millers Court, in a westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
- Millers Court, both sides, from its junction with Canterbury Gardens, in a northerly direction, for a distance of 29 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, south side, from a point 4 metres east of the eastern kerbline of Friars Court, in a westerly direction, for a distance of 81 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, eastern entrance, west side, from a point 3.5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Eccles New Road, in a northerly and westerly direction for a distance of 11.5 metres.
- Canterbury Gardens, eastern entrance, east side, from a point 3.5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Eccles New Road, in a northerly and easterly direction, for a distance of 13.5 metres.
