18 month experimental prohibition of waiting: Half Edge Lane, Eccles order 2009
Notice is hereby given that on 23 January 2009 the council of the city of Salford made the abovementioned order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order which comes into effect on 5 February 2009 shall introduce a limited waiting bay and no waiting restrictions on the lengths of road specified in the schedules below for a period of 18 months until 5 August 2010.
A copy of the order, together with a plan showing the area affected may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

The council of the city of Salford will consider in due course whether the provisions of that order should be continued in force indefinitely. You may object to this within six months from 29 January 2009 by stating the grounds of the objection in writing to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA (quoting reference H/LH/UV/RTO/211).
Schedule 1
Introduction of limited waiting bay, Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm, waiting limited to a maximum period of 2 hours with no return within 2 hours:
- Half Edge Lane, north side, from a point 25.9 metres south east of the junction with Glendale Road for a distance of 90 metres in a south-easterly direction.
Schedule 2
Introduction of no waiting Monday to Friday 10.00am and 4.00pm:
- Half Edge Lane, south side, from a point 76 metres west of the junction with the south-westerly kerbline of Victoria Crescent for a distance of 201 metres in an easterly direction.
