Prohibition of waiting: Sefton Road, Swinton Order 2010
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford propose to make an order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into effect you will not be allowed to cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time on the length of road specified in the schedule below.
The order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
A copy of the proposed order together with a plan of the area and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the Legal Section, Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 5DA, between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Director of Engineering, Traffic Management and Control, 4th Floor, Emerson House, Albert Street, Eccles, M30 0TE by the 9 August 2010 (quoting reference TRO 1594).
Schedule
Introduction of no waiting at any time:
- Sefton Road, Swinton, south side from the north western kerbline of Warwick Street for a distance of 15 metres in a north westerly direction.
- Warwick Street, Swinton, north west side for a distance of 15 metres in a south westerly direction from its junction with Sefton Road.
- Warwick Street, Swinton, south east side, from the south western kerbline of Sefton Road, for a distance of 12.5 metres in a south westerly direction.
