Please note: Following a request from United Utilities, the diagram showing the location of water infrastructure on page 100 of the Issues and Options Report has been removed from the document. 

The Core Strategy Issues and Options Report was published for consultation in October 2008. The report set out four possible strategic options for how the city could develop. A significant number of comments were received through the consultation, which ended on Friday 23 January 2009. Through the Core Strategy Issues and Options consultation, a number of individuals and organisations suggested their own 'Alternative Options' for how the city should develop. An Alternative Options Report was published for consultation in April 2009, inviting people to make comments on the ‘Alternative Options’ that had been put forward. It is important to note that the options published in the Core Strategy Alternative Options Report were suggested by other individuals/organisations and not the city council.

Correction: please note that the representations summarised in entry D2 on page 14 of the Alternative Options Report and on page 57 of the Summary of Responses to the Core Strategy Issues and Options consultation should relate to the southern element of the Weaste and Seedley Ward, and not Claremont and Weaste as stated.
