Primary schools admissions timetable

The primary admissions process follows a strict timetable (see below) with set deadlines that allow the Salford Local Authority (LA) to offer your child a single primary school place on 15 April 2011.

1. Closing date for applications: 17 January 2011
2. Salford LA sends applications to Aided Schools: 28 January 2011
3. Aided schools responses: 24 February 2011
4. Offer made to parents by LA: 15 April 2011
5. Appeals for on time applications must be heard within 40 school days of appeal being lodged
