Primary Capital Programme
The Primary Capital Programme (PCP) is an exciting government programme that will invest funds to improve primary schools.
More than £130 million could be spent on transforming Salford’s primary schools, the largest single investment in primary education Salford has ever seen.
Proposals are currently being developed and have been submitted to the Department for Education which would see at least seven new state-of-the-art primary schools built in Salford. In addition, at least 84 of Salford’s primary schools would benefit from the extra funding in some way. Improvements will include new ICT facilities and refurbishments of school sites.
