• 59% of those questioned live less than one mile from Hope High School,
• 15% lived one mile away,
• 9% two miles away, and
• 17% lived three or more miles away from the school.

Distance from Salford Quays:

• 63%·of those questioned, live more than 3 miles from the proposed new school site at Salford Quay,
• 17% live two miles away,
• 4% one mile away, and
• 13% live less than one mile from Salford Quays.

Connection with Hope High School:

• 22% parent/carer at the current school.
• 26% parent/carer of child at local primary.  
• 11% staff/governor at the current school.  
• 13% staff/governor at a local school.
• 11% other member of the public.

67% of the respondents will have a child eligible to attend the academy when it opens from 2009.
