Relationships and sex education (for high schools)

This session, delivered by Julie Chapman (Personal, Social, Health Education (PHSE), Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), Social, Emotional Aspects of Learning (SEAL) Consultant) and Hilary Pollard (PHSE, SEAL and Drug Education Consultant) will include:

  • What should be taught and when? (spiral curriculum that is age appropriate)
  • Teacher training needs
  • Parents training around when and how to talk to their children about growing up, puberty, sex and relationships etc.
  • Governor responsibilities around relationships and sex education in their school
