Road hump notice: Cavendish Road, Bradford Road, Welbeck Road, Monton 2010

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of its powers under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intend to allow road humps that were constructed in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below remain in place.

Copy of the plan and a statement of the council's reasons for, may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed notice you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Director of Engineering, Traffic Management and Control, 4 Floor, Emerson House, Albert Street, Eccles, M30 0TE by the 12 July 2010 (quoting reference TCM7-5).

Introduction of road humps 3700mm long and 75mm high:

  • Cavendish Road - 4 no
  • Bradford Road - 1 no
  • Welbeck Road - 1 no

Introduction of junction plateaux:

  • Bradford Road/Godolphin Close
