Road humps notice: Hamilton Street, Swinton order 2009

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of its powers under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intend to construct road humps in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.

After the 19 February 2009 speed humps will be placed at the length of roads specified in the schedule below.

A copy of the plan and a statement of the council's reasons may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA, between 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday inclusive.

If you wish to object to the proposed scheme you should send the grounds of your objections in writing to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by the 19 February 2009 (quoting reference H/RAB/RTO/UV176).

Introduction of speed humps - full width of carriageway, 3.7 metres long not exceeding 100mm in height.
