Road hump notice: Jubilee Street, Langworthy Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford in exercise of its powers under Sections 90(A) and 90(C) and 90(D) of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 intend to construct road humps in the lengths of road specified in the schedule below.
If no objections are received, speed humps and speed cushions will be constructed on the length of road as detailed in the schedule below after 7 December 2009.
Copy of the plan and a statement of the council's reasons may be examined at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA between 8.30am to 4.30pm. Monday to Friday inclusive.
If you wish to object to the proposed notice you should send the grounds of your objections in writing to the City Solicitor, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA by 7 December 2009 (quoting reference H/RC/UV/RTO/376).
Schedule
Jubilee Street, Langworthy:
- 2 single speed cushions - 1.7 metres wide, 3.7 metres long and not exceeding 100mm in height
- 1 speed hump - 6.1 metres wide, 3.7 metres long and not exceeding 100mm in height
- 1 speed hump - 5.9 metres wide, 3.7 metres long and not exceeding 100mm in height
