Are you trying to find a new home in Salford? Look no further!
Salford Home Search is the city's lettings service so if you're looking for a home to rent whether it’s a council property managed by Salix Homes, a housing association or an accredited private landlord, this is the place to come!
The onus is on you to find the home you want to live in. Just have a look at what we've got available and if somewhere appeals, you place a bid. Its as simple as that.
What do I need to do?
You need to register by visiting the Salford Home Search website, or by visiting Salford Home Search, Crompton House, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 6ES.
Alternatively, whilst the service is based at Crompton House drop in surgeries will be available at the Pendleton Gateway Centre from Monday 13 June.
- Monday from 8.30am to 1.00pm
- Tuesday from 10.00am to 1.00pm
- Wednesday from 10.00am to 4.30pm
- Thursday from 1.00pm to 4.30pm
- Friday from 1.00pm to 4.30pm
Once this is completed you can start looking for a new home and place a bid for ones you are interested in.
Available properties will be advertised weekly on the Salford Home Search website and in property advertising sheets that are available from Salford Home Search, Salix Homes offices, Salford Civic Centre, Crompton House and Halton House.

As these changes give people greater choice, it is known as Choice Based Lettings.
