Ward profiles
Ward profiles provide a statistical snapshot of conditions within each of Salford's twenty wards. Comparisons are made where appropriate, with districts, county, regional and national figures to provide context.
The profiles contain statistical information available to the council from sources that include the 2001 census and the 2007 Index of Multiple Deprivation. This information contained within these documents includes health, crime, education, socio-economics, benefits, employment and housing stock (including property types, tenure and vacancies).
In December 2010, updated versions of the ward profiles were made available on this page.
