Strategic Regeneration Framework and Action Plan

"In 2028 Salford West will be one of the most desirable and prosperous areas in Greater Manchester."

The Salford West Framework sets out an ambitious vision for the area. It will drive investment across the west of Salford to 2028, influencing public and private sector investment, attracting new investment to the area. This means public, private and community sectors working together to a common vision. The framework complements the ongoing regeneration of Central Salford.

The framework was developed through a series of consultations (2006 to 2007) with local communities, Elected Members, strategic partners and the private sector. There was a real passion from all involved around revitalising town centres and neighbourhoods, improving transport links and making the most of economic, leisure and heritage opportunities. Consultations, along with in-depth analysis of local data, led to the vision and identified areas for action.
