Schemes 2009/10

During the financial year from April 2009 to April 2010 the housing Crime Reduction Team have carried out a number of projects across the city including;

  • 57 residents benefitting from doorstep crime package
  • 77 repeat victims of burglary received assistance in securing their home
  • 193 residents received assistance through the sanctuary scheme
  • 52 Alley gating schemes covering 1496 properties
  • 3 off road biking prevention schemes
  • 311 residents in hotspots received assistance in securing their home
  • 209 residents benefitted from improved fencing or side gates schemes
  • 100 requests for alley gate maintenance
  • 13 repeat victims of anti social behaviour received assistance in securing their home.
