Schemes 2009/10
During the financial year from April 2009 to April 2010 the housing Crime Reduction Team have carried out a number of projects across the city including;
- 57 residents benefitting from doorstep crime package
- 77 repeat victims of burglary received assistance in securing their home
- 193 residents received assistance through the sanctuary scheme
- 52 Alley gating schemes covering 1496 properties
- 3 off road biking prevention schemes
- 311 residents in hotspots received assistance in securing their home
- 209 residents benefitted from improved fencing or side gates schemes
- 100 requests for alley gate maintenance
- 13 repeat victims of anti social behaviour received assistance in securing their home.
