Section 1 - Personal details

Please make sure that all your personal details are included. If any of this information is missing, it may be difficult to contact you about your application.

Section 2 - Further information

Please use this section of the application form to:

  • Say why you want to be a school governor.
  • List all your skills and experience. Try not to leave anything out, for example, include details of your work experience (paid or otherwise), your interests and hobbies, whether you have children (and if so, say how old they are), and what you feel that you can offer.

Once you have compiled this information, write out your statement in the box provided. This is the most important part of the form so take care with it. Attach another sheet if your final statement does not fit onto the form.
