Understanding your school budget training course

This session is delivered by members of staff from the children's service finance team and is essential for governors on committees that deal with school finances. The session will outline:

  • how schools are funded and the format and planning of school budgets
  • the governors' role in monitoring the school budget
  • performance statements and how to use them.
