School term dates
Salford Local Authority is committed to establish schedules which are based on working towards terms of approximately equal length putting the interests of children first whilst, at the same time, accomodating the different needs of primary and secondary schools.
The total number of days in the Salford scheme totals 190. This number of days is a statutory requirement.
All closures to be on the evening of the dates shown, openings to be on the mornings of the dates shown.
For Voluntary Aided and Foundation schools it is the school Governing Body which sets the school's term dates. Please contact these schools directly for further information.
