The provision and management of sport and leisure services and facilities in Salford is undertaken by Salford Community Leisure Limited.  We are a community benefit society owned and controlled by you - our users, staff and local residents.

Salford Community Leisure Limited is responsible for managing Salford's Fit City Centres, Salford Watersports Centre and Salford Sports Village and the Sport, Health and Community Leisure Team.

What is Salford Community Leisure?

SCL is a membership organisation owned and controlled by the people of Salford. It is a community benefit society, whose members are its users, its staff and local residents.

Can I find out more?

This website contains the constitution of Salford Community Leisure, which tells you things like how to join, what members can do, how its board is chosen, and how it is run.

Do I have to join SCL to use the facilities?

No you do not - anybody can use SCL’s facilities, and the costs to members and non-members are the same.

So why should I join as a member?

It is entirely optional, but by becoming a member, you can attend members’ events, take part in membership activities, and be one of the people who have a say in what SCL does.
