Self care
Self care is all about feeling confident to manage your own health and wellbeing.
It covers every aspect of living a healthy life, from making sure we eat a healthy diet to looking after ourselves when recovering from illness.
For people living with a long term condition, self care can bring independence, self worth and the ability to lead a life that's as near normal as possible.
To support people in Salford to look after their health and wellbeing, the Self Care Team has developed the Keeping Well programme.
