Self guided visits

You are also welcome to bring your class on a self guided visit to the museum. We would ask however that you ring to book this visit in advance as this way we are able to check that there are no other groups booked in on the day you require.

Self guided visit in the Victorian Gallery

You can also book to bring your class on a self guided tour of our Victorian Gallery if you want your visit to be art based. We have created a Victorian Gallery Education Pack to help you run a self guided session in the gallery which is available to download below.

Other essential information

We also have a room in which your class can eat their lunch during their visit. If you wish to make use of this facility please mention this at the time of booking.

There is an area at the entrance of the museum for coaches to park.
