Social media is a new way to communicate and share information amongst friends, family, and colleagues online, as well as meeting people with similar interests. Social media sites are being used regularly by millions of people worldwide.

Facebook

Facebook is a social networking website that allows users to join networks organised by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves.
