Advocacy
An advocate is someone who makes sure that other people and organisations listen to you. If you are not getting the service you want and you do not feel confident to say so, or you have said so but feel you have been ignored, contact one of the organisations below and ask them to help. You can also ask advocates to help you if you wish to complain about a service.
Age Concern Salford (for older people) provides a one to one service that is independent, confidential and non-judgemental. The service encourages personal independence and empowers older people to express in their own way, issues that are important to them and to make genuine and informed choices.
