Appreciation, complaints or concerns about adult social care

We would like to hear from you if you think we have done something well or if you are unhappy with the service provided or have a complaint.

Tell the Adult Social Care contact team if you are unhappy with something about your care and support. They may be able to solve the issue for you.

If you are still unhappy, you can complain using the button below. A member of Adult Social Care staff will listen to your problem or concerns. They will agree an action plan to look into the issues in detail and let you know how long it should take.

Make a complaint, compliment or comment

If you are still unhappy, contact the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman, telephone: 0300 061 0614.

Unhappy with a care provider you are using

If you have arranged your own care and support and are paying for it yourself, you should complain to the service provider in the first instance. If that does not solve the problem, or you do not feel able to speak to the provider, you can contact the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.

Advocacy

If you need help telling us what you are unhappy with, an advocate can support you or complain on your behalf.

When it goes well

Of course, it's also good to know when it goes well. Let the Adult Social Care contact team know, so that the service can learn and improve.

Adult social care will let you know what actions they take as a result of the inquiries into the issues you raised.

Adult social care is now provided by Northern Care Alliance
