An ideal course for the thrill seeker in you! Powerboating is exhilarating and fun. We are pleased to offer first class training in the handling of powerboats. Our courses are all run to the high standards set by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). These hands on courses cover all the supporting theory needed, equipping you with the skills and confidence required to handle powerboats on inland waters.
Powerboating - RYA Powerboat Level 1
Price: £80
If you fancy a one day taster of powerboating then this course is what you need. You will learn basic boat handling skills as well as opening up the throttle and having a blast around.

Powerboating - RYA Powerboat Level 2
Price: £130
This exciting course provides a sound introduction to boat handling and the associated background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver. The course covers skills such as anchoring, man over board drill and high speed driving. No previous experience necessary.
This course is a requirement for anyone wishing to become an RYA dinghy, windsurf or powerboat instructor

Powerboating - RYA Safetyboat Course
Price: £130
This course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes. Ideal for potential instructors, coaches or watersports club members. It is a pre-requisite that candidates must hold the RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate.
This course is a requirement for anyone wishing to become an RYA senior instructor.

Powerboating refresher training
Price: from £30 per hour
This training is ideal for anyone who has completed the RYA Powerboat Level 2 course and is looking for some driving experience before moving onto the next level. Or maybe, you completed the course a while ago and could do with some refresher training. Prices are per person. Please contact the centre to discuss a suitable time and date.
