Employment and work experience

Watersports instructors

We are currently looking for qualified, experienced and enthusiastic staff for the summer 2012 season. You will need to be based in the Manchester area as we are not a residential centre.

We are looking for people who hold valid Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Dinghy Instructor, or British Canoe Union (BCU) Kayak and Canoe coach qualifications.

If you are interested, please email your CV to watersportscentre@scll.co.uk.

Work placements

Work placements are available at Salford Watersports Centre. These are available for youngsters who can show us that they have a genuine interest and prior experience in watersports and who are ideally regular users of the centre and are known to us. Priority is given to those who live in and attend school in Salford.

If you are interested in a work placement, please email juanita.boddy@scll.co.uk at Salford Community Leisure Ltd, who will then discuss with us your suitability.
