Why get involved?
Litter pollution harms our environment, wildlife, and communities. By participating in the Great British Spring Clean, you can make a real difference in Salford. The Great British Spring Clean isn't just about cleaning up litter—it's about building community pride and making a positive impact on our environment. Together, we can protect our green spaces, streets, and parks for future generations to enjoy.
How to take part
- Sign up: Become a #SalfordLitterHero by signing up for the Great British Spring Clean in Salford. Whether you're an individual, a community group, a school, or an organisation, you can help keep Salford clean.
- Get involved: Join us in litter-picking activities across Salford. You can volunteer with friends, family, colleagues, or as part of a community group. Share your before and after photos using #SalfordCleanUp and inspire others to join the movement.
- Equipment: Our Salford Ranger Team will supply all the necessary equipment for volunteers.
If you find any dangerous or suspicious items, do not remove from site or touch. Please immediately report to Greater Manchester Police.
