Springwood Play Area

The Springwood School Play Area has been designed and built to be used by disabled children and their families from across Salford. The facilities include an accessible toilet and a changing room. These are in the school and the entry door adjoins the outdoor play area.

Opening times
The outdoor play area and facilities are open after school, on weekends and school holidays during daylight hours from 8.30am to 7.30pm at latest.
Health and safety
We want this play area to be safe and secure for everyone who uses it.
- It is monitored by CCTV
- Parents and carers of disabled children will need a fob pass to gain entry to the play area. These can be obtained from the Children with Disabilities Social Work Team on 0161 793 3535. There is no charge for a fob pass
- We would like to ask everyone who uses the facilities to ensure that they are left in a clean and tidy condition
- Smoking in not permitted anywhere in the school grounds
- Salford City Council reserves the right to remove a fob pass from any person who misuses or causes damage to these facilities
