St Ambrose Young Families
St Ambrose Young Families (SAYF) is a church related family support project that works in partnership with Spurgeon's Child Care and Sure Start. They provide a creche service at the Langworthy Cornerstone and out and about in the community. They also hold family fun sessions, play schemes, an after school club, holiday care and courses for parents as well as supporting a toy library and community groups.
They received a £242,224 lottery grant through the community fund in 2004, which enables the project to run to 2007. This means SAYF can continue to provide a safe and stimulating environment, where parents and carers can come together with their children and use the purpose built playroom, sensory room, ball room, parents lounge and toy library.
