A summary of budget changes from 2006/07 to 2007/08
The council has set its budget for 2007/08 at £198.229m, which is a 4.8% increase on last year. After allowing for changes to the council tax base, related to the number of properties in the bandings, this gives a 3% increase in the council tax you pay towards the cost of the city council’s services.
