Supporting People
Introduction to Supporting People
The Supporting People Programme was introduced in April 2003 to help vulnerable people live independently in their own homes.
Supporting People funds and delivers high quality, housing-related support services which are cost effective and reliable. The planning and development of services is based upon the needs of local people.
Supporting People is a working partnership of local government, health, probation, support providers and people using support services (service users).
