Provider network

Representatives from providers of Supporting People services in Salford, meet regularly to discuss how we can make a positive impact on the Supporting People programme in the future.

We discuss a variety of ways in which we could go about this as follows:

  • Give a summary of our activities to the Supporting People team for inclusion on the provider's area of the Supporting People website so that all providers are aware of the work of the network
  • Establish clear links to other networks to ensure cross-area points of view
  • An open invitation extended to all Supporting People groups. We are very keen to get other forums involved in our group however we do appreciate the number of meetings people already attend. Therefore, people can either attend our network or contact the chair Gill Cook (Adullam) or deputy chair Peter Hatch (Riverside Group, ECHG) with comments/opinions/queries etc which will then be raised on your behalf. Our network can also attend other forums/groups if required
  • Identify areas of training that the providers feel are required and see if these training needs can be met by drawing on the skills of existing services and sharing good practice
