Swinton North SNAP
Monday 6 to Sunday 12 September 2010
SNAP took to the streets of Swinton North in September, bringing together organisations to clean up areas and target criminal activity.
Over the course of the week, almost 31 tonnes of waste were collected, around 200 people spoke to police at the mobile police station and 227 free home fire risk assessments were carried out in the area.
On top of this, free events were held for the community, including plenty of things for kids to do. The highlight was the Poets festival which was a massive success.
