Talent pool
Thank you for registering your interest in working in social work or social care with Salford City Council.
To register your details in the 'Talent pool' you need to create an account on the Your Council Jobs website, or if you already have an account login and complete your Talent pool profile.
Talent profiles are an interactive way of storing your background history and job preferences, making it easier for you to find jobs to apply for that match your requirements. With talent profiles you have complete control and flexibility.
- Store details about your employment background, experience and preferences so that you can let workplaces know what types of jobs you are interested in.
- Determine the job roles and job types that you are interested in.
- Store details of your last application so that any new applications can be automatically filled in to save you time when applying for jobs.
- Switch your talent profile on and off at anytime. With the talent profile switched on, employers can find jobs for you and then contact you about them. Or you can switch off your talent profile when you are not actively looking for a new job.
- Determine the information you want potential employers to see.
So your talent profile will make it easier for you to find and apply for the right jobs. It's that simple! Create a talent profile now.
As you have expressed an interest in working for Salford City Council, please make sure you tick 'Salford' as one of the authorities you would like to work for and 'Social Work/Social Care' as the job type when you are completing your talent pool profile.
