The Landscape Design Group celebrated success at 2003 RHS Tatton Flower Show by scooping an "Award of Merit For Best Show Feature" for the Central Plaza designed for the NWDA and a Silver Gilt Medal for their back to back garden designed for Macclesfield Borough Council.

President of the RHS, Sir Richard Carew Pole presented the Award of Merit to the NWDA Chairman, Bryan Gray for its 'stunning central plaza' designed by the Landscape Design Group and constructed by the Casey Group of Companies.

The award was presented after the plaza's official opening, attended by Eric Robson, renowned presenter of the BBC radio's Gardener's Question Time and former Brookside actress Karen Drury.

Project Manager Andy Stockton commented: "This is deserved award for a fantastic team effort. The group's imaginative design and the construction expertise of Caseys have combined to produce a magnificent Central Plaza.

The group also continued their successful working relationship with Macclesfield Borough Council. To publicise their recently completed Macclesfield Park Strategy, the group designed a back to back garden which was constructed by Macclesfield Council employees.
