Telecommunications Supplementary Planning Document

The Telecommunications SPD provides guidance for those involved in the planning and design of new telecommunications development. It also serves to inform decision makers and local communities and promote transparency, inclusiveness and consistency for all parties throughout the decision making process. It explains the council's overall approach to telecommunications development, and sets out detailed advice on Government policy and the planning framework, the siting and appearance of telecommunications development, and health considerations.
The Telecommunications Supplementary Planning Document was adopted by the council on 18 July 2007.
