Social Inclusion and Community Telematics
Salford City Council is committed to giving every citizen in Salford the opportunity not to be left behind when it comes to new technology. We are particularly interested in helping citizens to access services online rather than having to make a phone call or travelling to a see a person.
Between September 2002 and April 2011 we have directly helped over 10,000 local people in Salford to develop their computer skills and worked with over 150 community/voluntary groups to help them build their own websites.
Visit the links on the left to find out what it is all about and how you, as a citizen of Salford, can get involved and benefit.
