Temporary footpath closure: Newearth Road, Worsley Order 2010
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be the temporary closure of the footpath on the old railway embankment from Newearth Road, Worsley, for a distance of 260 metres in a westerly direction.
The order is required to enable contractors access to land to construct the new traffic signal controlled junction of the Leigh, Salford, Manchester guided busway at Newearth Road, Worsley. The order will commence on 7 June 2010 for a period of six months until 7 December 2010. The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed locally.
Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref L/LH/UV/RTT/493).
