Temporary footpath diversion: Trinity Footbridge, Salford 3 Order 2010

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to introduce temporarily a footpath diversion as per the schedule below.

The order is required to enable refurbishment works to be carried out and will commence on 4 May 2010 for a period of six months until 4 November 2010. The footbridge will be closed as and when necessary throughout the closure period.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref L/CW/KH/RTT/UV/466).

Schedule 

  • Temporary closure of Trinity Footbridge.

The alternative route will be via the footpath between Trinity Bridge and Dearmans Place, Quay Street, Brown Cross Street, New Bailey Street, Bridge Street West and St. Mary’s Parsonage.
