Kersal Dale (The Cliff)

Kersal Dale is located next to the River Irwell and provides a perfect opportunity for relaxation.

The area is classed as a Site of Biological Importance (SBI) and Local Nature Reserve and is home to a variety of spectacular wildlife such as woodpeckers and kingfishers which can be regularly spotted along the river.

As well as self-guided trails and activities the Salford Ranger Team with support from the Friends of Kersal Dale provides a wide range of volunteering opportunities throughout the year.
