Toasty Salford

'Mr Toast'

Get your home toasty and cut the cost of your heating bill with FREE insulation!

Salford City Council has joined forces with the Energy Saving Trust and the nine other Greater Manchester councils to bring you the ‘Get Me Toasty' campaign.

Together, we want to reduce harmful carbon emissions from Greater Manchester's homes, whilst helping you save money on your heating bills.

The campaign is promoting loft and cavity wall insulation which will help keep your home warmer. It means you can turn your heating down which in turn could save you around £100 per year on your heating bill. Not only that, but rooms warm up faster and there is less chance of damp and condensation forming.

For a limited time, if you own or privately rent your home you can get free insulation (subject to survey, based on having less than 60mm of existing loft insulation in place).

If you're a tenant of City WestSalix Homes or a housing association, you need to contact your housing provider directly if you think you need insulation.

Find out more by visiting the Get Me Toasty website or by calling 0800 009 3363.
