Temporary prohibition of driving: Manchester Road and Chorley Road A6, Swinton Order 2009
Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit driving on the highways specified in the schedule below.
The order is required to enable soldiers of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to parade from Victoria Park to Salford civic centre and will commence on Tuesday 1 December 2009.
A rolling closure will be in operation for the section of the parade from Victoria Park to Worsley Road A572. A diversion via Partington Lane and Worsley Road will be in operation for the closure of the A6 from Worsley Road to Partington Lane.

Temporary prohibition of driving:
- Manchester Road A6 from a point 90 metres east of Birch Road to Worsley Road which will be in operation from 10.45am to 11.30am
- Chorley Road A6 from Worsley Road to Partington Lane which will be in operation from 10.45am to 12.00 noon.
