Temporary prohibition of driving: Ordsall Lane, Regent Road, Salford Order 2010

Notice is hereby given that the council of the city of Salford intend in not less than seven days to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a prohibition of driving as per the schedule below.

The order is required to enable contractors to carry out gas main renewal works within the highway and will commence on 29 May 2010 for a period of 4 weeks until 26 June 2010. The works are to be carried out at weekends only.

The alternative route for vehicles will be signed via A5066 Oldfield Road and A57 Regent Road. Access for residents and businesses to be maintained where possible.

Plans showing the areas affected by the proposed order may be inspected at the Legal Section, Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Road, Swinton, Salford, M27 5DA during normal office hours. (Ref H/CW/RTT/UV/479).
